Gyanyogi Shri Nandkishore Sharda Adhyatma Kendra

The Swami Vivekananda Student’s Welfare Charitable Trust and the Maa Sharda Mani Trust are only for girl students. In 2009, some girl students requested that their brothers' education is being hampered due to financial reasons. At the same time, the members of the trust also realized that many male students in the society are not able to pursue their studies due to financial limitations. To cater to this problem, the “Gyanyogi Shri Nandkishore Sharda Adhyatma Kendra” was founded by Kumari Basanti Manihar on August 06, 2010. Since then, the male students are also getting financial assistance from Manidweep through this trust.
Maa Basanti ji's heart was an ocean of compassion. In October 2020, seeing the very pathetic condition of the needy families during the Corona period, she decided to provide ration to needy families every month, which continues unabated till date.
Till date, over 75 lakhs rupees have been distributed amongst over 489 male students for pursuing school and college education, and for providing ration to over 230 needy families every month.

The main guiding principles of the Trust are:

  • No boy student wishing to study should be deprived of education for want of money irrespective of her marks, religion, caste, etc.
  • The financial support is exclusively need-based.
  • Administrative expenses are kept as low as possible. They are voluntarily borne by the trustees. Accounts of all the trusts are annually audited and Income Tax exemption under Article 80G has been obtained.
  • Not only trust imparts financial support for education but also act as catalyst for their overall personality development so that they can make a place of pride in society.
  • Education sans morality and 'sanskar' is dangerous. Therefore, they should be taught their duties along with their rights so that they can be responsible citizens and contribute to the development of the country
